<p>A display apparatus for displaying the state of an external device and a method thereof are provided. According to the present invention, messages indicating the connection state, the power state and the sleep mode of the external device are displayed on a screen of the display apparatus to which a USB is applied. Therefore, the state of an external device which inputs a video signal to the display apparatus, may be shown on the screen, and thus a user can easily know the state of the external device.</p> |
