<p>A method of installing a viewing panel or glazing assembly 10 within an aperture 30; where the viewing panel has multiple panes 11 (12, fig 5), a first pane being of greater size and projecting beyond the other panes on at least a first and second end (62, 63, fig 3); the aperture having at least a first and second slot 50, 51 on at least opposite faces of the aperture. The method of installing the panel involves sliding the first end of the projected pane into the first slot, rotating the panel and sliding the second end into the second slot. The viewing panel may be flush with a surface surrounding the aperture. In a second aspect of the invention a viewing panel is at least double glazed, where both panes have transparent and obscured sections, the second pane is movable relative to the first, and the first is fire proofed.</p> |
