摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem wherein, when a one-way device is applied as a semiconductor device applied for an inverter or the like, a reflux current flows through a reflux diode at a timing when the reflux current from a load flows, and therefor loss in the diode cannot be eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: A gate drive device for a two-way switch includes a synchronous control means. The synchronous control means drives a first gate terminal 2 and a second gate terminal 3 to conduct in a third mode in accordance with a timing when a reflux current flows, while using a two-way switch 1 that includes the first gate terminal 2, the second gate terminal 3, a drain terminal 4 and a source terminal 5, and has four operation modes by turning on/off each of the first gate terminal 2 and the second gate terminal 3.
