<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a proper value of stock quantity to be held, of general purpose intermediate products each having a hierarchical structure and available for multiple final products, and of the final products. <P>SOLUTION: In a computer, link information in a manufacturing process of final products and intermediate products, stochastic distribution of demand quantity expected for each final product, and excess probability of each final product and intermediate product are read, and stochastic distribution of required quantity of each intermediate product is calculated (S1, 2). Then, based on cumulative probability calculated based on the stochastic distribution of the demand quantity of each final product and the stochastic distribution of the required quantity of each intermediate product, basic quantity to be held of each final product and each intermediate product is calculated from the excess probability, and in addition, for the intermediate product, the basic quantity to be held is corrected by subtracting the basic quantity to be held of final products or intermediate products being linked and in lower levels, and the basic quantity to be held of each final product and each intermediate product is outputted as stock quantity to be held (S3-5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
