The electronic cooker cooks food according to the selected menu, such as food kinds and quantity, and keeps the cooked food warm after finishing the cooking process. The cooking method comprises a menu selection/display step (240) including a key-in of menu, displaying the key-in menu, and displaying the next selection menu; a step of keying in the number of persons and displaying the food preparation/quantity; a heating step (260) of cooking the food corresponding to the selected menu by actuating a heater and a timer; a step (270) of generating an alarming sound if the cooking steps are finished, and keeping the cooked food warm at a regular temperature.
