COOLING SYSTEM OF EMERGENCY COOLLING TANK AND NUCLEAR POWER PLANT HAVING THE SAME

<p>Disclosed are a cooling system of an emergency cooling tank and a nuclear power plant having the same capable of cooling for a long time without charging cooling water as a preparation for changed heat transmitted to an emergency cooling tank as time passes in case of an accident in a nuclear reactor. The cooling system of an emergency cooling tank includes: an emergency cooling tank in which heat is transmitted to the cooling water from the nuclear reactor or containment building in case of emergency in the nuclear reactor, formed to accommodate cooling water inside; a thermal exchange device for exchanging heat between the cooling water and outside air to maintain the operation of the emergency cooling tank without charging cooling water, installed exposed to the outside of the emergency cooling tank to be operated in the air and for discharging heat to the outside; and an opening and closing unit for opening by fluid of steam formed by pressure deviation between the outside air in a pressure higher than the predetermined pressure to discharge the partial of steam formed by the evaporation of the cooling water when transmitting thermal load overpassing the cooling capacity of the emergency cooling tank, installed at the upper part of the emergency cooling tank to be arranged at a position higher than the water level of the cooling water.</p>
