<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide fiber being excellent in flexibility, elasticity, low hygroscopicity, moisture permeability and adiabaticity and having utility value as a functional material.SOLUTION: A polyimide fiber is obtained by processing polyimide into fiber, The polyimide consists of a part of m unit formed of an aromatic tetracarboxylic anhydride and diaminosiloxane and a part of n unit formed of an aromatic tetracarboxylic anhydride and an aromatic diamine compound, where m is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 and n is in the range of 0 to 0.5. The terminal is closed by monoamine dicarboxylic anhydride or organic acid chloride.</p> |
