PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of reducing unburned fuel contained in combustion gas.SOLUTION: A burner 20 includes: an ignition part 62 igniting mixture of fuel and air; a combustion cylinder part 30 including a combustion chamber 76 combusting the mixture and a discharge port 32 for discharging combustion gas caused by combusting the mixture from the combustion chamber 76; a projection plate 65 extending from an inner peripheral surface 30a of the combustion cylinder part 30 toward the inside of the combustion cylinder part 30, and narrowing the flow channel cross sectional area of gas flowing toward the discharge port 32 through the combustion chamber 76.
