<p>A method for gasification of unsegregarted waste to produce high energy gas fuel, which method comprises: gasification of unsegregated waste feed in an inert, oxygen-free atmosphere, in an endothermic thermolysis reaction chamber to thus gasify the same in the absence of substantial by-production of liquid reaction products; said thermolysis chamber comprising a dense bed of heated fluidized sand bed and unsegregated solid waste; the heat energy required for said thermolysis reaction being generated by the exothermic combustion reaction zone; the heated fluidized sand bed and unsegregated waste in said endothermic thermolysis reaction zone being in communicating relationship with the heat obtained from the combustion reaction zone in said exothermic combustion chamber; the process of application of superheated steam to the plastic and styrofoam in the unsegregated waste, converting it into brittle form thus, easily ground to reduce its size, and said process of combustion and thermolysis of producing high energy gas fuel is clean-air-act compliant as there is no odor, smoke, and the flu gas is purified and recycled as oxidant for proper combustion.</p> |
