<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in a conventional lighter using a heating wire and a fan that a motor is needed to rotate the fan and electric power to rotate the motor as well as the electric power for energizing the heating wire is necessary, and thereby consumption of the electric power increases, and accordingly, the number of times of ignition is reduced in a small battery, and conversely, a large-sized battery has to be built in to increase ignition frequency, resulting in causing failure of increasing weight.SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes facing each other is provided, and a booster circuit in which the voltage of the battery is boosted up and is applied to both electrodes to generate arc discharge between the electrodes is built therein, and thereby a cigarette is ignited.</p> |
