<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tires which improves both wet grip performance and on-ice/snow performance and achieves good wear resistance and a breaking elongation and a pneumatic tire using the composition.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tires contains 10-100 mass% of an isoprene-based rubber, 0-80 mass% of a butadiene rubber and 0-70 mass% of a styrene-butadiene rubber, in 100 mass% of rubber ingredients, and 1-50 pts.mass, relative to 100 pts.mass of the rubber ingredients, of a terpene-based resin of a hydroxyl value of 20 or smaller and a softening point of 106-124°C.</p> |
