PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a focal control action using an imaging surface phase difference detection method.SOLUTION: A defocusing amount of a photographing optical system is detected based on a picture signal used for the automatic-focusing regulation of a phase difference detection method obtained from an image sensor. When the defocusing amount of a predetermined amount or less is detected a plurality of predetermined times or more by a plurality of times of defocusing amount detection, a focus termination judgment part 213 controls the drive of a focus lens so that the drive of the focus lens is suspended. |
