PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in charge/discharge cycle performance.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte in which a boric acid and a compound having an oxalatoborate structure are added is used. Since a boric acid is an extremely inexpensive material, a boric acid is not only capable of providing a nonaqueous electrolyte battery inexpensively, but also has a specifically excellent effect as compared with other boric acid compounds. Synergistic effects on charge/discharge cycle performance are achieved by using a boric acid and a compound having an oxalatoborate structure, such as LiBOB, in combination. |
