PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining a good image without complicating the structure of the device.SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 includes a plurality of nozzles 222 for ejecting ink droplets for one pixel on a sheet. Each of the plurality of nozzles has an ink chamber 226. In each of the plurality of ink chambers, a piezoelectric element 232 is arranged which performs an ejection operation for ejecting ink droplets from the nozzle and a fluctuating operation which fluctuates a meniscus of ink in the nozzle but does not eject ink droplets from the nozzle. An image data analysis unit 750, based on the image data, determines the presence or absence of ejection pixels to which ink droplets are ejected for each of the plurality of nozzles. A printer engine unit 730, based on the determined result of the image data analysis unit, controls the piezoelectric element so as to fluctuate a nozzle, among the plurality of nozzles, corresponding to the ejection pixels on a page between a page and the precedent page, and at immediately prior to ejection of ink droplets. |
