<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a dry friction material, reduced in the number of processes.SOLUTION: A method of producing a dry friction material includes an attaching process for attaching rubber to a thermosetting resin-impregnated cord, a process for winding the cord after the attaching process in a prescribed size into the ring shape, a molding process for pressing and molding the ring-shaped cord by using a molding die to obtain a flat ring-shaped molding and forming at least one recessed part on one face of the flat ring-shaped molding, a heat treatment process for hardening the rubber and the thermosetting resin of the flat ring-shaped molding to obtain a hardened body, and a through hole forming process for perforating the recessed part by polishing the another face of the flat ring-shaped molding as the hardened body.</p> |
