PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of improving the operability of tilt adjustment.SOLUTION: A steering device includes a fastening mechanism 19 which fastens a fixed side plate 29 fixed to a vehicle body and a movable side plate 22 fixed to an upper jacket (a movable jacket). The fastening mechanism 19 includes: a fastening shaft 21 inserted into a tilt groove 36 of the fixed side plate 29 and a telescopic groove 28 of the movable side plate 22; and a guide member GM which fits in an outer periphery of the fastening shaft 21. The guide member GM includes: a tilt guide part 42 which engages with an inner periphery of the tilt groove 36; and a telescopic guide part 43 which fits in an inner periphery of the telescopic groove 28. The tilt guide part 42 includes: a body part 44; and a roller 45 which is rotatably supported by the body part 44 and contacts with an inner periphery 36a of the tilt groove 36 in a rolling manner. The telescopic guide part 43 includes a flat part 46a which engages with the inner periphery of the telescopic groove 28 to be restricted from rotating. |
