PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor and a signal processing method capable of imaging an underground structure in the case of using a promoted recovery technology on the basis of the information of an observed earthquake wave.SOLUTION: A signal processor 1 includes: propagation speed calculation means for calculating the intensity and direction of vibration in an underground structure region by using a calculation model including the data of a vibration propagation speed; simulated propagation speed calculation means for inputting seismic center information to the calculation model by simulated signal input means, and for calculating the intensity and direction of vibration in the underground structure region by using the calculation model; and update amount calculation means for calculating an update amount for updating the calculation model on the basis of propagation speed distribution information and simulated propagation speed distribution information. The calculation model is a solid model. The propagation speed calculation means calculates the intensity and direction of first vibration by using a first measurement signal input to the calculation model, and calculates the intensity and direction of second vibration by using a second measurement signal input to the calculation model. |
