PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a caisson type pile and the caisson type pile, capable of easily and surely constructing a hollow part forming inner form of the caisson type pile of a large diameter.SOLUTION: The caisson type pile comprises a ring-shaped outer form constructed in the natural ground of a pile construction site and forming a shaft, a ring-shaped inner form 2 constructed in the outer form, concrete placed between the outer form and the inner form 2 and surplus soil back-filled in a hollow part formed of the inner form 2, and the inner form 2 is constituted by connecting an inner form unit (U) of assembling a liner plate 6 in a ring shape in a vertical multistage shape by connection means 11 constituted of an inside guide member 12 and an outside guide member 13 installed on a lateral end part side flange 8 of the liner plate 6.
