PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually indicate sheet conveyance position or a moving position of image reading means to a user.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance apparatus includes: conveyance means which conveys a sheet; position specification means which specifies a position of a sheet conveyed by the conveyance means; light sources L1-L4 arranged close to each other in positions which can be seen from the outside of the apparatus, in association with a conveyance direction of the sheet conveyed by the conveyance means. The control means controls lighting of the light sources L1-L4 on the basis of the sheet position obtained from the position specification means.
