<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED photocatalyst unit which can eliminate putrid smell gas of ethylene and others more efficiently than the conventional, is less aggressive to food and can achieve long term storage of the food, in the LED photocatalyst unit which utilizes photocatalyst reaction with LEDs which are compact-sized, light-weighted and energy-saving as a light source.SOLUTION: In an LED photocatalyst unit 1, a photocatalyst sheet 8 is arranged as facing the irradiation side of a light source which is configured by arranging as plane-like plural LEDs 3 constituted by two kinds of ultraviolet light LEDs and visible light LEDs, a heat radiation fin 12 is arranged at the rear surface side of the light source, the ultraviolet light LEDs are turned on only for a prescribed time, the visible light LEDs are turned on always, and the photocatalyst sheet 8 utilizes titanium oxide carrying pulverulent platinum as a photocatalyst.</p> |
