<p>The present invention relates to a tunnel excavation method to reinforce a pillar between a front tunnel (10) and a rear tunnel (20), and includes the steps of: (S100) providing a steel pipe reinforcement material (100) along an excavation surface of an upper half part of the front tunnel (10); (S200) installing a support (210) and a casting shotcrete (220) after excavating a lower portion of the steel pipe reinforcement material (100) provided on the upper half of the front tunnel (10); and (S300) performing a boring work from the front tunnel (10) in an upper direction of the rear tunnel (20), inserting an upward reinforcement material (310) into a bored hole, and performing a grouting work. The upward reinforcement material (310) is installed at a predetermined distance from the excavated surface of the rear tunnel (20), and the steps repeated. According to the present invention, only the front tunnel (10) is reinforced, and an additional reinforcement material needs not to be installed in the rear tunnel (20), such that the construction costs and duration can be reduced.</p> |
