A signal display lamp (1) includes: a display section (12) that is provided with one or more display units (21-25) including a light source; memory (35) having stored therein lighting control information (72) and configuration information (71) indicating configuration of the display section (12), said lighting control information associating with each other a plurality of control signals and lit states of the display units (21-25) that are provided in the display section (12); a lighting control section (61) that controls, when the control signals are received, lighting of the display units (21-25) such that the display units are in the lit states associated with the control signals in accordance with the lighting control information (72); and a first lighting control information registering section (62), which generates the lighting control information (72) on the basis of the configuration information (71), and which registers the lighting control information in the memory (35).
