MICROSTRIP ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip antenna capable of radiating an electromagnetic wave in two or more different directions while preventing an increase in manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A microstrip antenna includes: a dielectric substrate 10 having a folded planar shape; two or more radiation patterns 2 for radiating an electromagnetic wave; and a connection pattern 3 for connecting the radiation patterns 2 to one another and for supplying power from a common power-feeding point 4 to each of the radiation patterns 2. The radiation patterns 2 and the connection pattern 3 are composed of microstrip lines formed on the dielectric substrate 10. The dielectric substrate 10 is folded so that the connection pattern 3 is crossed to a ridge line 5 and has two or more radiation surfaces 10a to 10c having different orientations from one another.
