The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating immune diseases, containing metformin and coenzyme Q10 as active ingredients, which are used for preventing or treating immune diseases caused by an abnormal immune reaction. The concomitant administration of metformin and coenzyme Q10 according to the present invention can inhibit the expression of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-17, IFN-γ and/or IL-1b, which are inflammatory cytokines, and reduce the differentiation of osteoclasts or inhibit the infiltration of inflammatory cells in an arthritis-induced animal model. In addition, the composition of the present invention can alleviate the weight loss caused by inflammatory bowel disease, regulate the activity of IgG of pathogenic B cells, inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines, and remarkably increase the activity of Foxp3+ Treg, and thus can be useful as a composition for preventing or treating various immune diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, graft-versus-host disease and the like.
