A toilet brush having a handle grip connected to a pull rod which is adapted to travel freely through a hollow main handle. The pull rod is connected at the other end to a cleaning head assembly, having stiff bristles and an absorbent sponge. The sponge is modified to include a scouring surface. The cleaning head assembly is modified to allow any moisture collected by the absorbent sponge to be extracted by pulling on the hollow main handle and the coil spring placing the hollow main handle back to its original position.

An elongated handle, having an upper and lower end; said handle being formed to allow a pull rod to slide through its center; said pull rod adapted to receive a hand grip on one end and a top plate on the other end; said top plate being positioned between an absorbent sponge and a scouring pad; a cleaning head base is attached at one end to the lower end of said elongated handle and having a top phalange at the other end; a coil spring is located around the pull rod seated between the top plate; and the top phalange.
