A display device (100) and a manufacturing method therefor. The method comprises: providing a concave part (1022) on a cover plate body (1021), spreading glass slurry on the concave part (1022), sintering the glass slurry to form agglomerates (1023), providing an auxiliary display component (1024) on the cover plate body (1021) where the agglomerates (1023) are formed already, and irradiating the agglomerates (1023) with laser so that the agglomerates (1023) are engaged with a cover plate (102) and a display substrate (101). The method can prevent the auxiliary display component (1024) of the cover plate (102) from being damaged in the encapsulation process of the display device (100). |
