<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collet chuck capable of gripping an easily collapsible and easily deformable tool and wire rod of 1 millimeter or less such as a pipe composed of metal or resin, by one kind of collet.SOLUTION: The collet chuck of the present invention comprises a chuck having a tapered hole, the collet inserted into the tapered hole of the chuck and having a tapered part (14) fitted to the tapered hole and a plurality of split grooves, a nut screw-fastened to the chuck, pushing the collet in the tapered hole and fitting the collet to the chuck, a plurality of blades having a tapered part (13) inserted into the split grooves and fitted to the tapered hole and supporting the periphery of a tool, a presser metal fitting installed in the nut, engaging the inclined end of the blade with a conical recess and pushing in the blade in the axial direction, a snap ring for fastening the presser metal fitting to the nut and a spring provided between the nut and the presser metal fitting.</p> |
