摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve an inherent problem in which: in a method represented by an NDIR method which measures target gas density according to the attenuation of light, it is required that an optical path length should be secured long for improving detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: A gas detector 10 comprises: an in-cell space 130 to which a target gas exhibiting an absorption peak in an absorption spectrum is supplied; a light source 410 which can generate light having a wave length belonging to at least the absorption peak; and a light detection part 420 which can detect light radiated from the light source 410 and propagated through the in-cell space 130. The gas detector 10 further comprises a conductive thin film 220 in which a plurality of optical openings 222 are regularly arranged so that a permeation peak of a permeation spectrum is superimposed on a wave length axis with respect to the absorption peak of the absorption spectrum. The conductive thin film 220 is formed in a light path which reaches the light detection part 420 from the light source 410, and arranged so as to be contactable with the target gas in the in-cell space 130.
