PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting tool unit which can form a light distribution pattern suited for a laterally long vehicular lighting tool vertically thin and horizontally long.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting tool unit comprises: a lens body 14 including an incidence surface 14b1, an emission surface 14b3, and a reflection surface 14b2 for internally reflecting the light incident from said incidence surface 14b1 toward said emission surface 14b3; and a laterally long light-emitting part arranged in the vicinity of a rear side focal point F of said lens body 14 for emitting the light which is incident from said incidence plane 14b1 into said lens body 14, internally reflected on said reflection surface 14b2 and then emanating from said emission surface 14b3. In said reflection surface 14b2, there are formed at least two V grooves 14b2C which extend along a plain face containing the optical axis AXof said laterally long light emitting part and arranged adjacent in the circumferential direction. |
