[Class 20 (iv)] A wall construction comprises a corner frame member 1, wallboards 2 meeting at the frame member 1 and secured thereto, an angular member 3 having flanges 5 secured to the boards 2 and integrally united by a rounded bead 7 forming a corner member, and a joint filler 8 covering the flanges 5 and merging into the surfaces of the boards. The angular member 3 is formed of metal and is preferably provided with perforations. The joint filler is adapted to engage the sides of the bead. A suitable joint filler consists of fine-grained mortar. |
