The present invention addresses the problem of providing an input assistance device, an input assistance method, and a program which enable appropriate feedback to a user when a non-contact operation is performed without using a controller. In the present invention, in a case where space coordinates of a predetermined site of a user are continuously acquired via a detection unit, and display control for moving a marker to a corresponding position of a display screen of a display unit on the basis of the updated space coordinates is performed, with the initial shape of the marker as being defined as a plurality of shapes obtained by dividing an arbitrarily defined shape, the display control for mutually moving the plurality of shapes further away from the corresponding position of the display screen as the distance of the space coordinates from a predetermined surface in a coordinate system of the space coordinates becomes larger, and mutually moving the plurality of shapes closer to the corresponding position of the display screen as the distance becomes smaller is performed. |
