PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging method of a disk-shaped article by free gradual forging, with which a structure of an ASTM crystal grain size of #4-#6 being a target in finish forging of the disk-shaped article can be obtained.SOLUTION: When forging and forming a treatment object material composed of a Waspaloy(R) equivalent material in a disk shape by the free gradual forging for repeating a forging process of adding compressive deformation for at least two times or more in the same place in the finish forging, at the beginning of starting the finish forging, the treatment object material is held at the temperature of 1,050°C or higher for 4 hours or longer, and heat treatment for performing solid solution of a γ' phase is executed, and thereafter, while holding the treatment object material within a range of the temperature lower than 1,050°C and the temperature of not depositing the γ' phase, processes up to the final forging process are executed. |
