PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide abrasive particles capable of preventing a reaction tank for manufacturing titanium dioxide by a chlorine method, a vapor phase hydrolysis method, etc., from being blocked, etc., by scratching titanium dioxide deposited on the reaction tank to allow a long-time operation thereof and allowing the long-time operation even when mixed in the manufactured titanium dioxide.SOLUTION: The abrasive particles are obtained by granulating and/or molding titanium dioxide using a binder and drying the resultant at a temperature of 50-200°C and has a diameter of 100-2800 μm, a bulk density of 0.5-3.5 g/cmand a hardness of 1.0-30.0 N. |
