The arithmetic calculation unit (110): uses a temporal change waveform for three-axis acceleration output by the acceleration sensor and calculates a Z characteristics amount and an X characteristics amount that indicate the degree of difference between acceleration in the up-down/left-right axial directions of the waist during a left leg standard period and the acceleration in the up-down/left-right axial directions of the waist during a right leg standard period; finds the second integral of the left-right axis acceleration output by the acceleration sensor; and calculates a Y characteristics amount indicating the degree of difference between orbital displacement in the left-right axis direction of the waist section during the left leg standard period and orbital displacement in the left-right axis direction of the waist during the right leg standard period.
