<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor that allows efficient removal of coloring impurities in a specific organic compound used for an undercoat layer and has excellent sensitivity characteristics.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes: a step of dissolving a composition including a compound expressed by a formula (1) into an organic solvent, and using a basic adsorbent containing 15 or more mass% magnesium and having a volume average particle diameter of 10-500μm to refine the composition; a step of removing the basic adsorbent and dispersing metal oxide particles in a solution including the obtained composition after the refining to prepare a coating liquid for an undercoat layer; and a step of forming a coating film of the coating liquid for an undercoat layer, and drying the coating film so as to form an undercoat layer.</p> |
