PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion capture method which can detect three-dimensional, complicated movements of a subject with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A plurality of cameras 3 are used to photograph a subject 1; a motion capture system is used to time-serially detect, in the photographic images obtained by the respective cameras 3, three-dimensional position coordinates of a plurality of markers 2 provided on the subject 1; three-dimensional position coordinates at past two time points of one of the plurality of markers 2 provided on the subject 1 are obtained; the velocity vector of the marker is obtained from the position coordinates at the past two time points; an estimated center position at the next time point of the marker is obtained by using the obtained velocity vector; the marker nearest to the obtained estimated center position is matched and obtained; and the marker is detected as the position coordinates of the marker at the next time point. |
