<p>The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for network configuration. The method comprises: a base station establishing a first public bearer, wherein the first public bearer is located between the base station and a machine type communication (MTC) relay, and the first public bearer is used for transmitting data of multiple terminals; the base station performing cascaded connection on the first public bearer and a second public bearer, wherein uplink and downlink transmission is performed on the data of the multiple terminals connected to the MTC relay through the first public bearer and the second public bearer, the second public bearer is located between the base station and a core network of the base station, and the second public bearer is used for transmitting the data of the multiple terminals. In the embodiments of the present invention, by way of performing cascaded connection on the public bearer of the MTC relay and the public bearer of the base station, the bearer of an air interface can be gathered, and the processing overheads of the base station can be reduced.</p> |
