When a user equipment (UE) (100) is establishing a connection with an evolved Node B (eNB) (200), the UE (100) receives preamble information, which represents random access preamble to be used in a random access procedure when re-establishing a connection with the eNB (200), from the eNB (200). The UE (100) retains the preamble information without discarding said information, even if the UE (100) establishes a connection with an access point (AP) (300) and releases the connection with the eNB (200).
