The present invention relates to a supporting frame for an expansion card. The supporting frame for an expansion card is applied to fix an expansion card on a motherboard, and includes a first engagement section, a supporting section and a second engagement section. The first engagement section is fixed on one side of the motherboard. The supporting section is connected between the first engagement section and the second engagement section and is adjacent to another side of the motherboard. The second engagement section is spaced apart from the first engagement section for fixing a fastening plate of the expansion card. The motherboard could be placed on a working surface (40) horizontally or stands upright on the working surface with the support of a supporting frame, thereby providing convenience in use.
