PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To crimp a wiring film to a terminal array part of a display panel without poor crimping and damage on a principal part of the display panel. SOLUTION: An end part of a wiring film 10 is placed on a terminal array part 2a of a display panel 1 which comprises a principal part 1a including a screen area 1b and the terminal array part 2a projecting to the outside of one side of the principal part 1a and has a surface of the terminal array part 2a in a position lower than a surface of the principal part 1a. The end part of the wiring film 10 is crimped to the terminal array part 2a of the display panel 1 by a crimping tool 20 which has a wiring film contact surface 20a to be brought into contact with the end part of the wiring film 10 and having two long sides and two short sides, and is formed such a shape that at least one of the two long sides retreats toward the other long side from a center part of the one long side to one end and the other of the one long side.
