PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing electronic components which enables external electrodes to be printed at a mother laminate phase with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing electronic components includes: preparing a mother ceramic laminate 5 in which plurality of internal electrodes are included and which has position information marks 4 showing the positions of the internal electrodes formed on end faces; reading the position information marks exposed on the end faces 5a and 5b of the mother ceramic laminate 5; printing external electrodes 5 on the main surface of the mother ceramic laminate 5 according to the position information based on the position information marks 4; and dividing the mother ceramic laminate 5 to obtain laminates in units of individual laminated ceramic electronic components.
