<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent leakage of toner from a toner container during transportation, reduce packing costs, and prevent incorrect operation by an operator.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes: a toner container 5 including a container body 22 having an exhaust port 35, a first rotating member accommodated in the container body 22, a shutter 28 opening and closing the exhaust port 35, and a lever 26 connected to the shutter 28; an apparatus body to which the toner container 5 is attached; and a cover attached to the apparatus body. The container body 22 has an exhaust duct provided protruding therefrom; the first rotating member is inserted into the exhaust duct; the shutter 28 is attached to the exhaust duct; and the lever 26 is moved among a first position for causing the shutter 28 to close the exhaust port 35 and not interfering with the cover, a second position for causing the shutter 28 to close the exhaust port 35 and interfering with the cover, and a third position for causing the shutter 28 to open the exhaust port 35 and not interfering with the cover.</p> |
