<p>The present invention relates to a gabion and, more specifically, to: a wire mesh unit which can be easily manufactured and constructed according to the site conditions and can also be manufactured and constructed in various shapes; and a construction method thereof. The present invention relates to a wire mesh unit (100) which can implement stone spaces (S) and planting spaces (N) in various shapes, and the wire mesh unit (100) comprises: two or more side surface wire mesh parts (110) coupled to each other at predetermined positions so as to form side surfaces of a stone space; and a lower wire mesh part (120) connected to the lower ends of the side surface wire mesh parts (110) so as to form the bottom surface of the stone space defined by the side surface wire mesh parts (110). At least one side of the side surface wire mesh parts (110) is provided with a blade part (113) projecting outwards beyond the defined stone space, and the blade part (113) is coupled to the side surface wire mesh part of another wire mesh unit so as to form a side surface of a planting space together with the side surface wire mesh part of another wire mesh unit.</p> |
