<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector which is capable of surely preventing infiltration of water or the like through a gap between members constituting the connector due to a capillary phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof connector comprises: a highly conductive contact 2; a metal shell 3 formed of a metallic tubular body, in which the contact is arranged; and an electrically insulative housing 4 fixing the contact 2. The housing 4 is formed of resin molded bodies 4a-4e and 4e<SB POS="POST">1</SB>integrally molded by injecting an electrically insulative synthetic resin into the metal shell 3 while arranging the contact 2 in a state where it is separated from an inner wall and is electrically insulated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
