<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock with a pointer position detection function capable of downsizing its mechanical pointer position detection structure. <P>SOLUTION: A clock has a center wheel, a back wheel engaging with the center wheel, a detection wheel to detect a position of the center wheel, and a detection means to detect the position of the center wheel by the detection wheel. The detection wheel has a detection gear engaging with a back wheel gear and a detection cam contacting with the detection means. A cam contour of the detection cam has a mountain-shaped asymmetric figure.
