<p>The present invention relates to a DNA aptamer which specifically binds with cadmium among heavy metals and to a use of the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a DNA aptamer which can detect, separate, and remove cadmium which is a harmful heavy metal present in various forms in environments related to everyday life such as mines, household wastewater, and industrial waste; a composition including the same for detecting, separating, or removing cadmium; a kit for detecting cadmium; a substrate for detecting, separating, or removing cadmium; a method for detecting cadmium; a method for removing cadmium; a method for producing a DNA aptamer; a filter for removing cadmium; and a heavy metal purifying system including the filter. A method for selectively detecting and effectively removing cadmium among heavy metals which cause environmental pollution through the cadmium-specific DNA aptamer of the present invention can be provided, and it is expected that the method can be utilized in solving recent cadmium pollution problems caused by industrial development. In particular, by means of the present invention, a major technique for detecting and removing environmental contaminants which is generally monopolized by advanced countries and multinational enterprises can be obtained. Accordingly, as a next generation technique that is competitive and environmentally-friendly for the nation′s environment and bioindustry, wide industrial applicability of the technique can be ensured.</p> |
