<p>There is provided a paper feeding device including: a microphone which detects sound occurred on a paper conveying path; a pre-processing unit which performs pre-processing on a signal of the sound detected by the microphone; and a jam detection unit which detects a jam of paper based on the sound signal on which the pre-processing is performed, a reference value about intensity of the sound, and a reference value about a duration time of the sound.</p> |
