<p>The present invention relates to a running apparatus of a mountain railway vehicle, and has characteristics of installing a first and a second rack gear adjacent to a first and a second rail disposed on ties of a railroad track on which the mountain railway vehicle runs, respectively and forming a first and a second pinion gear engaged with the first and the second rack gear on a wheel and axle of the mountain railway vehicle in one body. The present invention installs the first and the second rack gear on both sides of the railroad track on which the mountain railway vehicle moves and installs the first and the second pinion gear corresponding to the first and the second rack gear in the wheel and axle to couple the first and the second pinion gear to the wheel and axle, thereby generating traction power and braking power at both sides of the wheel when the mountain railway vehicle runs so the mountain railway vehicle can more stably run on a slope way.</p> |
