<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable updating of live view images during a series of operations to obtain images. <P>SOLUTION: A readout control apparatus comprises a readout unit which, while reading out still-picture signal from a first charge storage section, one of plural charge storage sections provided in each pixel disposed on an image sensor element, reads out moving-picture signal from a second charge storage section of the plural charge storage sections, and a readout control unit which, when reading out the still-picture signal from the first charge storage section n times separately (n is an integer equal to or greater than 2), exerts control so that moving-picture signal is read out from the second charge storage section at the time preceding or following a readout period of the still-picture signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
