<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for objectively classifying a subject into multiple regions and evaluating the classified regions. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a first calculation part, a first management part, a first evaluation part, a second calculation part, a second management part, and a second evaluation part. The first calculation part calculates feature amounts 0 from image data (S6). The first management part generates and manages an discriminator 0. The first evaluation part evaluates the feature amounts 0 by using the discriminator 0, classifies the image data into multiple region image data, and outputs them (S7-S9). The second calculation part calculates feature amounts i from the region image data. The second management part generates and manages an discriminator i.
